In 2018, the Shamrock Academy became Members of the Irish dancing organization Cumann Rince Náisiúnta (CRN, based out of Ireland). The dancers since took to the stage at their first competition in August 2018, and they already boast many Regional Award Winners, North American Championship Award Winners and World Championship Qualifiers. Shamrock Academy also hosted the first-ever feis in Central Illinois in December 2018. Beyond the competition stage, the Shamrock Academy has performed at the Allerton Irish Fest, on WCIA, at Fighting Illini Athletics events, in restaurants, at the Virginia Theatre, at Nursing Homes and more. Their performances are known to be clean, captivating and exciting, and all of their students, from the new 3-year-old beginner to the North American Award winner, are encouraged to get on stage and perform. Shamrock Academy hosts an annual recital each year in June.
